So you and your buddies want to hit the high seas for the next big catch, eh? Well, you have a plethora of fishing charters to choose from along the Connecticut shoreline. In alphabetical order is a list of a few for you to investigate if you like inshore fishing (striped/sea bass, blue/blackfish, fluke, scup [porgy]) or offshore fishing (shark, tuna, marlin). Some provide fishing tackle and gear, some don’t, so check for what you need to bring.

Captain Greg Dubrule is at the helm of this family-run boat. Black Hawk offers day and night trips plus the kiddies fish for free. Be at the dock at least 45 minutes prior to cast off (the earliest is at 6:00 am). Trips to Block Island are also available.

Bluefin Sportfishing Charters – Clinton, CT

Bluefin offers inshore (Long Island Sound to Block Island) and offshore (Atlantic) fishing, and lighthouse cruises. Happy hour/after work trips are offered Monday – Thursday.

Brothers Too Charters – New London, CT

Salty brothers Dave and Joe Hahn take their customers to fish the waters of Long Island Sound, Montauk Point, and Block Island. Sailing times are available at your convenience.

Judith Lynn Charters – Norwalk, CT

Specializing in live bait, jiggling, and deep water trolling, the Judith Lynn II can take a max of 6 passengers. Be at the dock 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Sunset cruises are also available.
