Lets face it, it’s been a lame winter for a snow lover like me. From December until now there has been about four decent snow events in Hamden. Last week’s snow only accumulated to .25” at my house.

So I decided to take a drive to the Northwestern Hills where the snow depth map reported 3 to 6 inches. I ended up at Burr Pond State Park in Torrington, where the landscape was wintry. I hiked the 2.5 mile trail around the pond with the white blanket of snow. It was a very peaceful experience to be out in, and I realized that it might be my last chance to see snow this winter!!
