After the big rain storm we had last Sunday and Monday and rainfall totals over 4" in some spots, our drought is improving, but is far from over.
The image above shows the drought as of April 17th, the week before the big rain storm.
Most of Connecticut was in a severe drought while the northeast corner of the state was in a moderate drought.
The next slide will show the week-to-week change.
