Tuesday PM: Rainfall Totals Update

We had some good rainfall this afternoon across the area. Here in Hamden at my station I received 1.17”. Northern New Haven County in general received around .75 to 1.10”. Just to the west and to the east amounts were a little less, between about .40 and .95.
This rainfall was briefly heavy for a time, as I drove around I noticed some pounding on the streets, but no major flooding. Overall the rain today was beneficial and helped reduce the rain deficit across the state!
