Alberto, Not the Big Story

Tropical Storm Alberto is no more, as the National Hurricane Center downgraded the system to a Post-Tropical Cyclone as of 11:00 this morning.
As we look at the Atlantic infrared imagery, Alberto is barely even distinguishable anymore. The low pressure system passing towards Cape Cod and the Islands almost looks more impressive. Eyes also turn towards a blob of convection (storminess) over the Caribbean.
