First the New York City metro area was slammed by heavy rain, flooding and thunderstorms, but now it's Philly's turn.

3:06pm Update:
Storms are still severe, but continue to move north of the downtown Philly area. 

Severe thunderstorms are causing flooding and minor damage with some downed trees being reported.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is making this a dicey situation and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are up from Philadelphia to Trenton.
