1809- Ohio saw three tornadoes rip through the southwestern portion of the state.
1953 – North Dakota reports a 600 yard tornado, that killed two people.
1987 – Seven tornadoes were born in Texas.
1988 – Up to ten inches of snow was recorded in parts of the western half of the U.S.
1989 - Great Falls, MT, was blanketed with 12 inches of snow.
1990 - Severe thunderstorms spawned four tornadoes, from north central Colorado to the northern Texas.
