This year, the Royal Meteorological Society (based in Reading, UK) has teamed up with artists and musicians in the local area, to create a brand new UK summer Festival known as the Reading Weather, Art and Music Festival.

This unique event is designed to celebrate Reading’s position as a globally recognised centre of meteorology (home of the ECMWF no less) and its rich artistic and musical heritage . A wide range of events will run over the course of this weekend, around the Reading town centre.

As part of the weather-related attractions, I have been commissioned by the society to attend the event at the Reading Town Hall, with the WeatherEvents.net mobile weather lab.  I will be setup and streaming live video from the event, from 5am to 11am CT time Saturday and Sunday (2nd/3rd June), and the great news is, you can watch the live stream right here on WXEdge.com!

I hope you enjoy the live views, from the home town of the Royal Meteorological Society and the ECMWF!
