Thunderstorms have passed through Connecticut all afternoon, but the threat lingers!

With plenty of instability aloft, thunderstorms are firing everywhere from upstate New York, into New England and down into the mid-Atlantic states.

Severe weather is not expected, but gusty winds, heavy rain and small hail are possible.
We've already had several reports across the state of winds gusting to 50 MPH and hail up to 1/2 inch in diameter.
