If you saw the article by Ralph Fato earlier today, you know the 6Z GFS run from today was forecasting a deluge of rainfall for much of Connecticut, the NYC Metro area, and northern New Jersey late this upcoming workweek. As I looked at the model output, I found myself asking, "What the heck is this feature?" Maybe someone can provide some clarity! Is it you?
