Well another good soaking rainfall has passed (most of) us, and we managed to see about a weeks worth of rain in about a day.  Check out some of the biggest rainfall totals from across the state (one inch or greater):

  • Chester Airport-1.38"
  • Bridgeport (Sikorski)-1.35"
  • Wallingford-1.30"
  • Avon-1.26"
  • Norwalk-1.23"
  • Hartford-1.18"
  • North Haven-1.13"
  • Berlin, Stamford-1.12"
  • Tweed-1.09"
  • Branford-1.04"
  • New Hartford, Bradley-1.01"
  • Greenwich, Plantsville, West Hartford-1.00"

Regardless of the good soaking rain, we're still seeing a near 5 inch deficit of rain across the state, with virtually no rain to come over the next week!
