A few days ago the USGS (United States Geological Survey) released their new elevations from a recent survey. The previous survey that has been supplying us with info was very inaccurate. In my North Haven neighborhood it was showing a drop in elevation when there was a significant rise. Everything was out of proportion. More the most part, almost every spot has registered a little lower to sea level except a few mountains. My house itself has dropped from 103' to 77'. So if you have a registered weather station that ask for elevation data and you wanna update it, or if your just curious, take a look at this link. Type in your address on the map and in the toolbox, the icon all the way to the right is the elevation tool.
