Talk about a warm start! It's 8 in the morning and most of us are in the 80s!

It may be hard to read with the small numbers, but the small red number is the actual temperature TODAY, Thursday, at 8 a.m. The big blue numbers are the temperatures from this time yesterday morning.

So, with that said, we're basically running about 10 degrees warmer than this time yesterday, on average. Groton is already up to 84 degrees! Wow! That is very impressive for the shoreline. Not to mention, that's at +14 degree temperature swing in 24 hours!

With highs generally ranging from the upper 80s to mid-90s yesterday, we are certainly on track for 90s just about everywhere. It also looks some many of us have a legitimate shot at cracking 100!

Stay cool out there today!
