The threat of strong to severe thunderstorms continues into the early evening.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for all of Connecticut, except for Litchfield County, through 8 p.m. this evening.

A cold front is approaching from the northwest and a few storms are still being triggered ahead of it. Once the front passes later tonight, less humid air will return as dew-points fall back into the 50s.
