While many parts of the country received temperatures well above average in June, my area in south central Connecticut was pretty "normal". The high temperatures averaged 2° above normal (79°) and averaged 2° below normal for the lows (59°)
In North Haven, the 4.35 inches of rain was above average by 17%. The most wet day was very early in the month on June 2nd when 1.41" of rain fell. Just 5 miles west in Hamden, I had a friend record over 2 inches of rain from that same storm. He also recorded about 2 inches more rain than I did for the month of June.
