101º to 55º

We have had a crazy change in temperature over the last 2 days. Starting on Wednesday, we had an unpredicted 101 degrees in North Haven. Other places in CT came in at triple digits as well. I was well aware that Friday would be cooler, but in the 70's? At 9:40 a.m. the temperature was 55.5 degrees and still dropping. We have had a 46 degree change in the last 46 hours. Many other towns on the outskirts of New Haven are currently joining the 50's club. These 50's will be sticking around too! Friday night and Saturday night will have temperatures from the low 50's to the upper 50's statewide.
