The above image is over the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) probabilities forecast for a severe weather event for Thursday, July 26th.  What I speculate the highest concerns are will be involving a damaging wind event.  Isolated tornadoes are possible, along with large hail and heavy rains.

PLEASE NOTE:  MY ANALYSIS IS USING 12Z NAM DATA FROM 07/25/12

First, before I get into any rambling about the severe weather potential tomorrow, I'd like to make a point that my intention here is not to hype up the situation at hand, but instead provide a valuable forecast. I feel it is important to the reader or any one who views television meteorologists (though many of them are in communications and don't hold a degree in meteorology) that we try to deliver accurate forecasts. TRY is the key word. And this is where I'm heading with my discussion.
