After some big storms on Thursday evening, it looks like we could see some more unsettled weather over the next couple of days.
The image above is the surface map for 2pm on Friday. Notice the cold front and area of low pressure still hugging the east coast as another area of low pressure moves out of Michigan.
That means we could see some more storms on Friday and again on Saturday, but they should not be as strong as Thursday's. The Storm Prediction Center actually keeps the severe risk area south of our area down toward Southern New Jersey and into the Carolinas.
So, we could see scattered showers at any point on Friday and any storms that pop up in the afternoon could still be strong, but a big severe weather event is not expected.
And again on Saturday, more scattered showers and storms, but nothing severe.
By Sunday, nicer weather moves in, so if you are planning outdoor events this weekend, Sunday is definitely the better of the two days.
