A Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues through 10 p.m. for southwest CT.

Conditions are still marginally favorable for severe weather into the evening.
Additional storms continue to fire to our west and some are expected to move back into Connecticut later tonight.

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moved through Connecticut between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Although there were no reports of severe hail or winds, many towns reported flash flooding.

Earlier on Saturday there were reports of wind damage and nickel-sized hail just over the border in New York State from these storms.

The biggest concern is for localized flooding and dangerous lightning.
Some of the storms could produce large hail and damaging winds as well.
