July started off very warm and dry here at my station in Hamden. Temperatures were often in the upper 80s most days. Despite the overall warm trend there was only a total of 5 days of 90 degrees or greater. 

Rain was limited during the first 3 weeks of the month, then finally the last weekend of July featured the heaviest rainfall of the month at 1.92”. 

Highlights from the month in Hamden:

Average Hi: 84.8

Average Lo: 65.7

Highest Temp 98.9 -18th

Lowest Temp: 56.8- 22th

Daily Rainfall Max:1.32- 28th

Monthly Rainfall Total: 4.75
