Today will be a muggy, but quiet day across the state, with highs in the upper 80's to low 90's. There is a slight threat of one or two isolated storms, and spotty showers later this afternoon, but otherwise it's a pretty benign day. However a change is on the way as a "Hazardous Weather Outlook" has already been mentioned for CT, and includes all counties except for Hartford, Tolland, and Windham counties (so far). rain could be heavy at times, with flooding possible, and winds could gust up to 30mph. The rain will be heaviest during the late afternoon hours through the overnight, and into Monday morning. I'd say we could get torrential downpours between 8 P.M. Sunday and 5:00 A.M. Monday. Total accumulation could hit 2", especially for the western half of the state. The biggest concern will be damaging wind speeds and possible flooding.
