After having a branch fall on my truck due to some strong outflow from earlier storms, destroying most of the weather sensors on my weather mast . . . I was happy enough to see a pretty night shelf cloud roll in associated with a decent line of storms ahead of the cold front. Frequently lightning, heavy rains and brief wind gusts of around 40mph were accompanying this line of storms.
