TORNADO WARNING IN EFFECT FOR HARTFORD AND TOLLAND COUNTIES.
5:23 p.m.
A Tornado Warning remains in effect, but the storm has weakened dramatically.
The storm is centered near East Windsor and is moving towards the north. Before it exits Connecticut, the storm will impact Enfield, Somers and Ellington.
Wind damage is still a possibility and there have been many reports of storm damage from Manchester, all the way down to the shoreline in Guilford.

5:07 p.m.
The Tornado Warned storm is now centered near the South Windsor and Vernon town line, and will be moving north towards East Windsor, Ellington, Enfield and Somers.
*Take cover IMMEDIATELY in these towns.*
The storm has a history of wind damage and estimated winds over 70 MPH. Take cover immediately and avoid travel in these areas.

4:51 p.m.
The Tornado Warned storm is now centered over the city of Manchester. The storm is moving towards the north and will soon impact South Windsor, Vernon, East Windsor and Ellington.
The storm itself is very close to I-384 and will be moving over I-84.
The storm has a history of wind damage and estimated winds over 70 MPH. Take cover immediately and avoid travel in these areas.

Tornado Warning is in effect for portions of Hartford and Tolland Counties until 5:00 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m. the storm was centered over Glastonbury and the storm is moving towards the north-northeast.
Towns that should take cover immediately include Manchester, Bolton and Vernon as the storm will impact that area between now and 4:50 p.m.
Strong, damaging winds are possible and a tornado may form or may be on the ground right now. In addition, flash flooding is another concern.
