Above is radar estimated rainfall from earlier today.

After much of Connecticut saw major flooding on Friday, a few spots has residual flooding yesterday and today a few more spots had some heavy rainfall.

Even though the heaviest of the rain was south and north of Connecticut, a line of very heavy showers tracked from near Hartford, northeastward into central Massachusetts.

In fact, the town of Monson, that was hammered with a major tornado last year, had some major flooding earlier today.

Here's a spotter report from Monson, MA at 8:30 a.m.:
TORRENTIAL RAIN BETWEEN 630 AM AND 830 AM CAUSED SEVERAL BROOKS TO OVERFLOW. CHICOPEE BROOK FORCED THE CLOSURE OF ROUTE 32. THREE ROADS WERE WASHED OUT AND IN  NEED OF REPAIR... BEEBE ROAD...CHESTNUT STREET...AND PALMER ROAD. TIMES APPROXIMATE.

Radar estimates above show anywhere in the range of 4 to 8 inches of rain fell in a relatively short time in that area. Not good for those who were already did with that storm last summer...
