We enjoyed some incredible weather on Monday and it will be pleasant tonight, but our next storm system is on the map and you can see it above.

And area of low pressure, cold front and warm front now located in the Midwest down to the Gulf of Mexico will move east over the next forty-eight hours.

The leading edge of the storms could arrive on Tuesday afternoon. While the day should be mainly dry, some isolated storms could pop up in the afternoon, especially west of I-91, since the storm is coming in from that direction.

Our severe storm threat is low at this time, but not zero...check out the next slide for the severe storm forecast.

The storm system will actually push right over CT on Wednesday morning...that means the best rain and storm chances will be scattered from Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Although the threat for severe storms looks to be low, there could be some heavy downpours.
