A few showers and thunderstorms are popping up across Connecticut.
Severe weather is not anticipated, but some of the storms can produce heavy rain and lightning. Be prepared to temporarily bring any outdoor plans inside should storms move into your area. The activity will generally track from NW to SE.

The strongest storm is across northeastern Connecticut. This storm is moving towards the southeast and will impact the city of Willimantic and surrounding areas over the next half hour or so.
