1030AM Dewpoint Plot

Enough with this tropical feel!!! LOL!

The amount of moisture in the air is very tropical across Connecticut. There is a change underway across Northern Connecticut. The dewpoint at Bradley International has been dropping over the last few hours. You can see the green line on the chart below!

I looked into this after reviewing satellite imagery...the cloud elements are coming down to Connecticut from Northern and Central New England. Not completely dry, the air is "drier" to our north and this is highlighted by the image above. Dewpoints are down to middle 60s across the Berkshires of western Mass. This air is heading in our direction.

I expect dewpoint values to lower to 60s statewide tonight. This is not refreshing and "Fall-like", but a big improvement compared to how it is outside today!

A huge change expected next week with cooler and drier Canadian air advected in from high pressure over the Great Lakes!
