Summer holds on today with humidity and heat too! A random shower or thunderstorm possible early to middle afternoon as a short wave trough comes through with some heating.
More importantly, severe weather possible Saturday Night and very early Sunday. A nasty line of convection will cross the state roughly 8PM-3AM. The wind aloft looks mean and could promote wind damage with the line.
At this point it looks like the line will move out and open up for cold air advection and much drier air for Sunday. There will be some diurnal cumulus development Sunday Afternoon.
