Temperature ranges yesterday were interesting across the state. With the dry air, calm winds, and clear skies, the morning lows got quite low compared to afternoon highs! Windsor Locks had a low of 46 and a high of 80. That’s a 34 degree temperature swing! At Meriden it was 46 for a low with a high of 78, a 32 degree temperature swing.  And at  WXedge contributor Nick DiGiovanni's weather station in the Clintonville section of North Haven , the temperature range was from 40 to 78, a 38 degree temperature swing.

With this kind of temperature ranges you could have your heat on in your car early on, followed by the air conditioning just a few hours later!  In fact yesterday, I saw someone with a heavy coat and gloves on at 7am, and then by 10:30am, drove by a beach in Milford and saw people laying out in bathing suits and wading in water!  So it’s just a crazy time of year for figuring out what to wear!
