Alright, happy weekend to everyone out there.  This morning started off with a lot of sun, and very few clouds.  Fog has burned off, and will continue to burn off as the day progresses with the higher sun angle and increased winds.  We'll call these the winds of change, because much cooler weather is on the way.

As the day moves on, a cold front will start to move towards the area, expect clouds to increase and rain to move towards us.  This front is not strong at all, and won't have much rain with it.  What's the timing?  Well according to hrrr, things should get going around noon:

These showers should last into the late afternoon hours and will most likely be done around dinner time, 6-7 pm:

Now the next weather maker comes in tomorrow as a low tries to develop off to the south of us.  This low will sort of ride along the front that will get hung up over us until tomorrow.  The location of this low developing will greatly dictate how bad the day is.  My initial feeling is that rain will start right around noon, so if you've got outdoor plans tomorrow, do them early!

Behind this front will be northwesterly winds, and will usher in a much cooler feel so tomorrows temps will struggle to get to 60 degrees.  Shoreline and inland Connecticut both average 67 degrees for a high temperature for this date, so we're cooler than normal!
