The entire state is under a Freeze Warning for tonight into Saturday morning.

As the coldest air-mass of the season ushers in some chilly air, most of the state is expected to drop below freezing by Saturday morning.

Forecast:
With clear skies and light winds, temperature are expected to fall into the mid and upper 20's inland and the lower 30's along the shoreline. Some of the urban coastal communities from New Haven down to Greenwich may stay a few degrees above freezing.

Freeze Warning:
This means that there is a strong likelihood that temperatures will fall to at or below freezing, which will effectively end the growing season across most of Connecticut. Any plans that are sensitive to frost/freeze conditions should be brought inside or properly insulated this evening.

Record low potential
The record low of 28 degrees at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks has a high probability of either being tied for broken. (record low for Saturday)
The record low of 34 at Sikorsky Airport in Stratford has a moderate probability of being tied or possibly broken.
