A Frigid Morning!

Talk about some cold temperatures this morning. One of the coolest views I've seen in a long time was the Middletown Camera that you see above. Very cold air temperatures, and very warm (relatively) water temperatures below causes the evaporating warm water to condense into a cloud and form fog. This morning, because temperatures were below freezing, this fog was freezing onto the trees nearby. The technical term for this is freezing fog. We also had some really cool temps across the state as well. Check out some of the numbers:
Eastford, Granby: 25
Norfolk, North Haven: 26
Stafford Springs: 27
Burlington, Danielson, Manchester: 28
