Well thanks to the really cold weather we saw yesterday morning, according to the National Weather Service, our official growing season has ended.  What's that mean to you?  Well you can still continue to harvest plants, but you won't be given any warning by the NWS if a frost or freeze is likely to happen.

Freeze warnings, freeze watches, and frost advisories will no longer be posted, so make sure you pay close attention to the low temperatures on the forecast maps.  We'll try to keep you informed over the next few weeks when temps come close to freezing overnight so you can prepare.

The good news is that we aren't expecting below freezing temps across any part of the state over the next 8 days, but we'll keep a close eye out for you anyway!
