Earthquake Rocks Northeast: Tuesday PM

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake was reported at 7:12 p.m. in southern Maine.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed the epicenter of the earthquake was centered 5 kilometers west of Hollis Center, ME, not far from the NH border.
Details
Although some people across Connecticut and even as far south as Long Island reported feeling the earthquake, more widespread affects have been reported across central and northern New England.
Many residents in downtown Boston reported homes and buildings shaking.
