Great weather is expected on Thursday...with a southeasterly wind...morning fog and chilly wakeup temps will be giving way to plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 60s.

Big changes roll in on Friday with our next storm system. Rain begins after midnight Thursday night into Friday morning and could continue, on & off right through early Saturday morning.

The image above shows the timing of the leading edge of the rain with microcast. Notice that by 5am, most of CT is seeing rain, although it is moving in from west to east which means by this point the rain will be a bit steadier in Western CT and might not quite be in Eastern CT just yet.

But...by the rush hour Friday, everyone is seeing rain. The rain could be heavy at times on Friday and some thunder, lightning, wind and heavier downpours will be on & off until Friday night.

Most computer models dry us out on Saturday, but there are some indications of a few leftover showers, especially early in the day.
