High temperatures on Saturday soared into the 70s across most of Connecticut.

The normal or average high state-wide is about 62°.

Bridgeport made it to 72°. That's three degrees shy of the record high of 75° set on this date back in 1953.

Bradley Airport had a high of 75°. That's also not quite a record...the record for October 20th is 81° from 1969.

More great weather in the forecast for Sunday and Monday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid 60s...not quite as warm as Saturday, but still above-average.

Clouds increase Tuesday with rain showers possible on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
