Snow continues to fall and many roads are dangerously slick.
Bands of light to moderate snow are pinwheeling through the state, especially along and south of I-84. Most of the heavy, accumulating snow is over. However, anyone under one of these bands could pick up a quick coating to an additional inch of snow.
Roads in many areas are untreated. The commute from New Haven to Naugatuck along I-95S and 8N was very difficult. There were numerous accidents are stalled out vehicles on the way. Travel is not advised overnight.
More updates on the storm will be given later this morning. The worst of the storm IS OVER.
