The image above shows the surface map on Monday afternoon.

Notice the gray, solid lines on the east coast...those "isobars" represent the wind direction...a southerly wind that will help warm CT up into the mid 60s.

The cold front back to our west will come through on Tuesday with scattered rain showers, but nothing too terribly heavy.

Then back to the sunshine on Wednesday with a sharp drop in temperatures...40s by day and below-freezing by night. While it will be sharply colder, the cold air arrives after the precip....so only rain and no snow!
