I thought I would put together a special video forecast, so that I could show you what I'm seeing with regards to the impending winter storm, next week. I tried to make this discussion as brief as possible, and edited many slides, but it's still a bit lengthy...With that said, it's also a bit technical, but I highly recommend giving it a chance, even if you don't have strong grasp of Meteorology. You'll at least be able to see the system "brewing" and moving up the coast. This will allow you to make an educated decision on your holiday travel plans.

Now models are just not that solid yet, and have wavered a bit with the timing and placement of the storm; however, I just don't see us escaping the snow (even if it is inland) temperatures will be cooler and the winds will be northerly. In addition we do have a lot of precipitable water available in the atmosphere.

I hope this video adds a bit of insight! In the meantime enjoy the mostly sunny to sunny skies in the forecast the rest of this week.
