High pressure builds across Connecticut for the rest of this week with some chilly air and relatively quiet conditions.

All eyes are on the storm potential next week. It once again is the tale of two computer models.

The ECMWF which stalls a storm center offshore and close enough for rain at the shore and a mix inland.

The GFS is a little more progressive with the low center and holds the upper low back. This would be a very minimal event for the area.

I will feel much more confident around this Friday after monitoring the compute model trends through the next couple days.
