I must say...this pattern ahead is unbelievably quiet for this time of the year.
High pressure builds in later today. A potent little short-wave trough moves across the state today. Very little moisture to work with. There could be a sprinkle in NW Ct from some mid level cloudiness, but mainly dry. Downward motion will clear things out later today and tonight. I think the clear trend will allow for another chilly start for Saturday. I expect more sunshine Saturday and most of Sunday compared to the recent cloudy theme this week.
Long range data keeps us on the edge of a very active Atlantic storm track. I will be watching models closely next week for these storms passing to our south and east. Temperatures will try to increase a little right around Thanksgiving before a surge of colder air builds in for the following week. Stormy then too? Stay tuned and here on wxedge.com
Have a good weekend and check my video above! -Gil
