WOW! We are very lucky with this pattern!

High pressure holds over the area for much of this week! A short wave trough crosses Wednesday with quiet-a-few clouds and that is about it! The storm track stays south of our area with just a few wispy clouds from time to time.

Changes are likely this weekend. A strong cold front will move through Saturday with strong cold air advection. Some of the 850mb temps are as low as -10c Saturday Night & Sunday. That's pretty cold. I undercut all model guidance. This will be the coldest shot of air for the season so far!

Solutions diverge a bit for next week on how strong and fast the next warm-up will be. The ECMWF has a 60f plus pattern early next week! Stay tuned!

Have a great Thanksgiving if you are heading out of town and check in here if you can. maybe share this cool stuff with your friends and family in different parts of the world and country!
