As you notice in the picture above, there is rain off to our west.   You may also see the arrows pointing Northeast.   This storm is moving Southwest to Northeast.  Basically, i don't want you to cancel any stuff you need to go to this evening/overnight.   But if you are in WESTERN CT such AS New Canaan, Stamford, Danbury, Salisbury, Kent, Warren or Newtown you may want to keep an eye to the sky as a little bit of rain could fall or even possibly snow that will hit the ground and melt.   Our biggest area right now for snow where just under a half inch COULD fall would be in the Middletown, NY, Monticello, NY, Newburgh, NY area.   I still wouldn't be surprised if we saw a flurry or sprinkle as far east as Guilford.   However, it doesn't look like it will play out that way.   Just throwing that out there for areas such as New Haven and to the West and Northwest.   The highest chance for precipitation in the state would be near the Salisbury area towards the late evening.
