With the snow projected to fall tomorrow (Tuesday the 27th) here's a look at the daily snowfall records for the month for BDR. This event is coming after the NorEaster on the 7th-8th which not only broke a daily record with BDR but also the biggest snowstorm on record for the entire month at 8.3".
Tomorrows snows most likely will not break the daily record for BDR as you can see 3 inches of snow fell in 2002 on that date. Had the snow fallen the next day on the 28th then we most likely would have broken the daily record...
HOWEVER... an interesting fact.... There has never been 2 snow events in November with more than a trace in each for BDR.
November 2012 seems to be busy with cold and snow. Here's how Central Park and Newark daily records look. Keep in mind Central Park records go back to the 1800s. Should be fun to see what happens tomorrow.
I'm thinking 1-3" for southern CT tomorrow but If the moisture gets tapped from the gulf, amounts could double.
