High pressure moves out today and there will be some wind.
All eyes are on a weak disturbance over Nebraska this morning. This weak area will ride a very fast jet and move here by tomorrow morning. 130KT speed max south of New England will cause this system to move by quickly.
The NAM model has the most QPF with 0.25' to 0.50" liquid along the I95 corridor. I think 1" to 3" will be fair for an average across Ct. This should not me a major deal and start tapering mid to late afternoon Tuesday.
High pressure settles back in for quiet weather Wednesday through Friday. Warm air advection will trigger a sprinkle or flurries this weekend before temperatures surge into the 50s about a week out from now!
