Temperatures as of 10 a.m. around Connecticut.
The northwest and northeast hills of Connecticut are at or slightly below freezing. Elsewhere, temperatures are generally in the mid-30s. The warmest air was along the immediate shoreline, where most communities were reporting drizzle or light rain.
As steadier and heavier precipitation moves in later in the day, temperatures may drop a couple of degrees, especially along the shoreline. This is expected to help change the rain back over to snow.
