Snowfall was quite variable across the state and in the same town yesterday!
In most locations on the coast there was only a trace of snowfall, even inland like at Bradley Airport only a half inch was reported. The snow was falling but the temperature was just a bit too warm for it too accumulate.
However once you got over about 400 feet in elevation, the snow accumulated much easier. As you can see in the highest elevations of Wolcott and Bethany 3", Hamden 2" while lower down in Hamden a trace, and the Clintonville section of North Haven got only .40". Also Northeast areas such as Stafford and Tolland recieved 2 to 3.5"! High elevation areas of Danbury to Newtown recieved 1.8 to 3.4" as well!
