It's a dry and quiet night across the state with a few passing clouds, but as the cold air moves in cold nights lie ahead...We'll be trending slightly below normal for the next few days until warmer air moves in, for the second half of your weekend. Otherwise we do have some precipitation moving in by late Friday (inland) into Saturday. I expect more of a messy day, as opposed to too much accumulation. Nevertheless plan on giving yourself extra time for your drive to the mall, for those Christmas gifts.
