A weak cold front will try to push through Connecticut on Monday, but the front will stall out and turn back around as a warm front into Tuesday.
In fact, the image above shows surface conditions on Tuesday and notice the warm front on the upper right hand portion of the image all the way up into Canada. That is actually Monday's cold front which moves north as a warm front.
But by late Tuesday, just back to our west are two cold fronts that will bring in the chill. With the fronts coming through, we could see rain (and only rain) showers late Tuesday and Wednesday, but much colder air. On Wednesday we will begin in the lower 50s and fall pretty quickly so that by Thursday morning we are in the 20s and highs on Thursday afternoon are only expected to be in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
