While the morning didn't necessarily start out on the nicest of notes, things will continue to look up as the day progresses.  As we expected, we saw a lot of fog across the state, that will take some time to burn off, but the good news is that there are very few clouds higher up in the atmosphere above them, so we'll get nice and mild this afternoon as weak high pressure takes over!

We'll have very weak cold air advection today, but downsloping will allow our temps to get into the mid 50s this afternoon with tons of sun!  While today isn't the warmest day in the 8-day, it will be the pick of the week, because it will be the sunniest and dryest.  As the night moves on, clouds will be on the increase as a warm front approaches the area.  Dewpoints will get close to the actual temps tomorrow morning, so I'm expecting some patchy fog around, although I doubt it'll be as bad as this morning was. A warm front will slide to the north of us during the morning, and could squeeze out a few showers, but it won't be a washout tomorrow.  I think the afternoon will be pretty dry, before some more rain moves through overnight.

This rain will be associated with a cold front that will bring much colder temps on the back side of it.  So while it will be mind on Wednesday to start, temps will drop sharply after this front passes by.  Highs on Thursday are expected to be a good 10-15 degrees colder than they will be on Wednesday.

As far as Friday and the weekend are concerned, I think we'll stay dry for Friday, but the models have been a bit inconsistent with some rain that could move through for the weekend.  The latest GFS model run indicated rain on Saturday, dry Sunday, and rain to start the work-week next week.  The Euro shows dry weather Saturday, and rainy weather on Sunday!  Stay tuned, and have a great week!
